Our free ‘Basic Membership’ is automatically applied to your account after you’ve created a profile for your dog(s) and added your location information in the Skiptown app. There are no fees associated with a basic membership! You’ll be able to access all of the services Skiptown has to offer: enjoy access to the bar & park with a purchased day pass, and our basic pet care services.

Changes To Pet Care

Here’s what’s changing… 

  1. We’re updating our cancellation policy. We’re delighted we’ve been able to offer free cancellation for daycare and boarding over the past year! Now that we’re reaching full capacity every day, free cancellation is coming to an end after July 31st to make it easier to guarantee availability
  2. All memberships now have both monthly & annual options
  3. We’re expanding our pet care capacity
  4. We’re now offering early daycare drop-off (as early as 6am)
  5. Non-VIP Members and non-Pet Care Members will receive one daily visit report instead of two during pet care appointments 
  6. Compatibility sessions are now $10 for non-VIP Members and non-Pet Care Members
  7. VIP Members and Pet Care Members receive a $10 pet care add-on bonus each month 
  8. VIP Members and Pet Care Members can choose between free early drop-off OR free late pick-up for each daycare appointment

UPDATED MEMBERSHIP & PET CARE FAQs

Only the name of your membership will change on 7/19 – no new fees will be charged until your existing membership is up for renewal. However, you will have the option to select a new membership on 7/19.

As always, you are not required to purchase a membership to experience Skiptown.

Once you’ve created a profile for your dog(s) and added your location information in the Skiptown app, you’ll automatically be made a ‘Basic Member.’ There are no fees associated with this membership! You’ll be able to access all of the services Skiptown has to offer: enjoy access to the bar & park with a purchased day pass, and our basic pet care services.

If you’re in a hurry, here’s what’s changing… 

    1. We’re updating our cancellation policy. We’re delighted we’ve been able to offer free cancellation for daycare and boarding over the past year! Now that we’re reaching full capacity every day, free cancellation is coming to an end after July 31st to make it easier to guarantee availability
    2. All memberships now have both monthly & annual options
    3. We’re expanding our pet care capacity
    4. We’re now offering early daycare drop-off
    5. Non-VIP Members and non-Pet Care Members will receive one daily visit report instead of two during pet care appointments 
    6. Compatibility sessions are now $10 for non-VIP Members and non-Pet Care Members
    7. VIP Members and Pet Care Members receive a $10 pet care add-on bonus each month 
    8. VIP Members and Pet Care Members can choose between free early drop-off OR free late pick-up for each daycare appointment

Boarding:

  • If you cancel more than 48 hours prior to 8AM on your scheduled appointment day,  cancellation is free
  • If you cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment day but before 8am the day of your appointment, you’ll pay a $18 cancellation fee
  • If you cancel after 8AM the day of your appointment, you’ll pay a late cancellation fee equal to 1 full day of boarding ($46 for the first dog; and $30 for each additional dog)

Daycare:

  • If you cancel before 6PM the night before the appointment, cancellation is free
  • If you cancel after 6PM the night before the appointment but before 8AM the day of your appointment, you’ll pay a $6 cancellation fee. 
  • If you cancel after 8AM the day of your scheduled appointment, you’ll pay a late cancellation fee equal to $25 for the first dog, plus $13 for each additional dog. 

You’ll still be able to book same-day appointments for daycare and boarding for no extra charge! Cancellation fees will apply.

Because of high demand for our pet care services, we’re making it easier to guarantee availability for our most loyal pups (and people) by updating our cancellation policy. We’re delighted that we’ve been able to offer free cancellation for daycare and boarding over the past year! But as we reach full capacity, free cancellation is coming to an end after July 31st to make it easier to guarantee availability.

For membership flexibility, we’re now offering monthor and annual payment options for all membership types.

We’re rolling out a new Pet Care Membership that will include some of the great perks you’ve already come to love, plus a choice of early drop-off or late pick-up, and a $10 pet care add-on bonus (for treats or cuddles).

Only Pet Care Members VIP Members will receive two daily reports; all other members will receive one daily report, so that our Skippers can focus on giving your pups undivided care and ear scratches.

As always, you are not required to purchase a membership to experience Skiptown. Once you’ve created a profile for your dog(s) and added your location information in the Skiptown app, you’ll automatically be made a ‘Basic Member.’ There are no fees associated with this membership! You’ll still be able to access all of the services Skiptown has to offer, but without any paid membership perks.

  • One daily visit report instead of two during pet care appointments

I love that the staff handles cleanup/sanitization when your dog makes a mess. It’s a bit pricey for a one day pass for the bar access, so definitely opt for the monthly membership if you plan to go three or more times per month.

I NEVER leave reviews but I have to with Skiptown. I’ve had such a positive experience every time I’ve gone. The staff are very attentive to your dog at the park & bar and were really good about cleaning tables in between visitors. The daycare was also fabulous! Love the little report card updates we get on the app. 10/10 ❤️ 🐶
