Pride Drag Show & Paw-rade
Who’s ready for another month of Pride? 🏳️🌈 To stand up for the LGBTQ+ community and show our pride, we’ve got a weekend full of exciting activities – all benefitting Time Out Youth, a Charlotte-based organization that offers support, advocacy, and opportunities for personal development and social interaction to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning (LGBTQ) youth ages 13-24. All weekend long, we’ll have rainbow décor, rainbow bandanas, and a backdrop that’s perfect for pride pup photos.
FRIDAY, JUNE 9 – Pride Drag Show
We’re kicking things off on Friday night with Pride Paw-rade Drag Show starting at 8p. Patti O’Furniture will be back to emcee the pup-filled evening! Joining her will be Queens Lilli Frost, Jamie Monroe, Luscious, and Venus Alexander. You can expect pride, laughter, pups, and more! Plus, Patti will be donating all of her tips from the evening to Time Out Youth. Click here to RSVP.
SATURDAY, JUNE 10 – Pride Paw-rade
All day Saturday, we’ll keep the party going with a Pup Up Market, Adoption Event, and two Most Prideful Pup costume contests (with some pretty great prizes 😉)! Contests will be held at 1p and 4p and judged by our non-profit partner, Time Out Youth. Click here to RSVP.
Please note that Skiptown is a 21+ only bar and you must show a valid ID with entrance. If you’re planning to bring your pup, you need to download the Skiptown app and set up your pup’s profile with up-to-date vaccines!
