Niki Chimberg
Head of Product

Neighborhood: Optimist Park

Niki was born and raised in the Boston area and ventured down to Charlotte after graduating from Cornell University. She works in marketing and web design, and Skipper is her third Charlotte startup. Niki has always loved dogs and she adopted Alfie (a fluffy mutt) shortly after moving to Charlotte. In her free time, Niki enjoys building and refurbishing furniture, traveling, hiking with Alfie, and rooting for Boston sports teams.

Megan Bailey
Head of Operations

Neighborhood: Steele Creek

Megan grew up in Charleston, SC and moved to Charlotte 12 years ago to start her career in public accounting. After realizing she liked people more than numbers, she transitioned into a role focused on recruiting and HR and has spent the last 10 years helping companies link people strategies to business strategies. In their free time, Megan and her husband love cuddling with their dogs, Maggie & Brinkley, traveling and all things Harry Potter.

Luke Griffith
Head of Engineering

Neighborhood: Atlanta

Luke started his career in the restaurant world managing a pair of Chick-fil-A restaurants. He broke sales and customer satisfaction records there before changing career paths to pursue programming full-time for a leading marketing company. He has always been a dog lover and is passionate about helping bring Skipper to the rest of the Southeast and beyond. In their free time, Luke and his wife love exploring Charlotte with their dog, Darby.

Austin Semple
Support Associate

Austin is an animal lover. He has been working with animals for over five years. He currently goes to school at UNCC and is pursuing a Computer Engineering degree. Austin loves exploring the city and finding new places to take his dog. He is so excited to be with Skipper and can’t wait to have a play date with your animal!

Matt McConomy

Neighborhood: Optimist Park

Matt is proud dad two young guinea pigs! He is also a musician invested in the local Charlotte music scene. Matt has always loved animals and has had many furry companions throughout his life. He’s greatly looking forward to going on little adventures with your favorite, fuzzy family member!

Hannah Patrum
Pet Care Associate

Neighborhood: Atlanta

Hannah was born and raised in the Charlotte area and has spent the majority of the last 15 years working at several different equestrian facilities helping train and show young horses competitively across the southeast. She has one fur baby named Cam and she has been working with Skipper since the beginning of 2019. She is thrilled to be a part of the Skipper team and loves spending time with all of our clients’ lovely pups and kitties!

Maddy finished high school in 2018 and that’s when she realized that working with animals would be a perfect job for her! She has two pups of her own, Roger and Max, and even a cat named Rocket. Walking your fur babies is something that makes her happy and she will always do her best to please you and your pup!

Bridget is a native to Charlotte. She is a full time yoga instructor with a love of animals. She lives with her wiener dog, Mable who love to play fetch and snuggle.

Camilla Green

Neighborhood: First Ward

Camilla recently moved to Charlotte from Florida and is enjoying exploring all that Charlotte has to offer. She has her degree in education and teaches English remotely to students in China. She grew up with at least one dog in the house at all times and has recently enjoyed the addition of a very friendly cat. She has always loved animals and looks forward to meeting your furry family members!

Kellie Christenson

Kellie moved to the Charlotte area three years ago with her husband, two kids and two dogs. She is currently going back to school because she wanted a career change. She loves the outdoors, plants and dogs of course. The latter is why she chose to work for Skipper. She believes in doing what you love because you’ll always put in 110% or more into it. Kellie’s profile picture only has one of her dogs because they will not sit together. The one pictured is Hefner, the other is Abbie, a mastiff mix.
