We offer breed-specific cuts, or you can request a custom cut. Inspiration photos are welcome!
What add-ons are available?
- Nail Treatments: Filing leaves your pup with healthier nail beds and short, smoother, and rounder nails than clipping alone. If your dog has sensitive paws or is nervous around power tools, we can also clip nails. Plus – add a pop of color with nail polish!
- Shed-control Treatment: Stay ahead of your dog’s natural shedding schedule with this shed-control solution that removes excess undercoat and reduces shedding. Highly recommended for all dogs with heavier coats. We recommend dogs with double coats or heavy coats get shed control every 4-6 weeks to maintain undercoat, especially if you’re not brushing daily at home. It also helps prevent matting and coat impaction.
- Fresh Teeth & Breath: Choose from a variety of treatments that remove plaque, prevent buildups, and fight bad breath for a sparkly, clean smile!
- Shampoos & Conditioners: Choose from top-of-the-line hydrating skincare treatments that improve skin and coat health, protect against dryness and rashes, and promote overall blood and oxygen circulation.

About Grooming
How Do I get Started?
Welcome to Skiptown! The first step to getting your dog set up to use our grooming services is downloading the Skiptown app. After you download the app, you should create an account and complete your dog’s profile. The app will prompt you through the registration process. Be sure to have your vet records handy! After your pup’s profile is completed, you’ll be able to schedule a grooming appointment for your dog.
How do grooming cancellation fees work?
How do drop-off and pick-up work?
- Drop your pup off at the scheduled appointment time.
- Pick them up within an hour of their scheduled end time! (You’ll get your scheduled pick-up time when you book the appointment!)
- You can also schedule grooming to take place during your pup’s boarding or daycare visit, and drop them off and pick them up at normal times!
I need to adjust my pick-up or drop off time, how can I do this?
If you need to reschedule or adjust your grooming appointment, reach out to hello@skiptown.io or text your local Skiptown team and our support team will be happy to help.
My last grooming appointment was great! How can I make sure I have the same groomer next time?
Previous grooming appointments can be seen in the Skiptown app. Once the app is open, click the Calendar tab, and select the date of your previous appointment. After opening your appointment, you will see the report from your previous groomer, photos of your pup, and any recommendations they provided.
