about the Bar & dog Park
What do I need to enter?
To enter the bar and park, humans need a valid, government-issued ID.
You’ll also need to ensure that you and your pup meet all entry requirements.
What is the age requirement for entering Skiptown?
All humans must be 21 and older and have a valid, government-issued ID for entry. Puppies must be at least 16 weeks old to play.
What vaccinations are required?
Your pup must be up-to-date on bordetella, distemper/parvo, and rabies vaccinations. Vaccination records must up to date and on veterinary letterhead.
To ensure the safety of our guests, we require all vaccinations be given by a licensed veterinarian. We do not accept dogs who are given at-home vaccinations.
Are there other requirements for dogs entering the space?
All dogs older than 6 months must be spayed or neutered – exceptions may be considered with a veterinary recommendation for delay.

Can I smoke at Skiptown?
Skiptown is a completely non-smoking facility, both indoors and outdoors. This includes vaping and electronic cigarettes.
Do you have non-alcoholic beverages?
Can I bring dog treats or dog toys to the park?
No outside dog treats or toys are permitted at Skiptown.
If I don’t have a dog, can I still come?
Yes! Human-only visitors over the age of 21 are welcome to enjoy the bar & park without purchasing a day pass. All visitors must sign a waiver, and provide a valid ID for entry.
Do you have breed restrictions?
We love all dog breeds at Skiptown! All well-behaved and social dogs are welcome to play as long as they meet our age, vaccine and spay/neuter requirements. Dogs who exhibit extreme discomfort or reactive tendencies will be asked to leave.
Is the park monitored?
Yes, we do have cameras throughout the facility as well as Skippers stationed around the bar and park to assist with any client needs. Your dog is your responsibility while visiting the bar and park and should be monitored at all times.
Do you host breed meet-ups?
Yes! We do not plan our own breed meet-ups, but local pet parents are able to book breed meet-ups on Sunday mornings from 10-11a for a small fee. This allows you to have private access to the bar & park for an hour before we are open to the public. Day passes are discounted from $15 to $5 for all breed meet-up attendees.Â
