We’re celebrating Oktoberfest the Skiptown way with three weekends of pup-friendly festivities, seasonal drinks, friendly competitions, photo ops and plenty of reasons to get the whole pack together.

THREE WEEKENDS OF SKIPTOBERFEST FUN
Every weekend brings something new to the Bar + Park, from stein-holding showdowns for the humans to competitions made especially for pups. Come for one weekend or make it a three-weekend tradition.
WEEKEND 1: SKIPTOBERFEST KICKOFF | September 19–20
We’re kicking things off with a full weekend of Skiptoberfest fun.
Stein Holding Contest
Think you have what it takes? Put your strength to the test and see who can hold their stein the longest.
Best Dressed Pup
Break out the lederhosen, dirndls, pretzels and festive fits. We’re searching for Skiptown’s best-dressed pup.
Skiptoberfest Photo Op
Grab your pup, strike a pose and capture your official Skiptoberfest moment.
The internal programming guide calls for stein-holding contests at 2 PM and 4 PM on Saturday and Sunday, alongside the Best Dressed Pup competition and ongoing photo activation.
WEEKEND 2: OKTOBERFEST GAMES | September 26–27
The celebration continues with a weekend made for a little friendly competition.
Stein Holding Contest
Missed your chance during opening weekend? Step up and see how long you can hold on.
Sausage Sprint
Ready, set, SPRINT! Cheer on some of Skiptown’s speediest pups as they race across the park toward their humans at the finish line.
Skiptoberfest Photo Op
The festive setup sticks around all weekend, so grab your pup and get the shot.
Weekend 2 specifically shifts toward games and friendly competition for both pups and humans, including the Sausage Sprint.
WEEKEND 3: SKIPTOBERFEST FINALE | October 3–4
One last prost! We’re closing out Skiptoberfest with our biggest showdown yet.
Championship Stein Holding Contest
Previous winners and new challengers can go head-to-head for ultimate Skiptoberfest bragging rights.
Best Dressed Duo
This time, humans are getting in on the costume competition. Coordinate with your pup and show us your best Skiptoberfest-inspired look.
One Last Photo Op
Because matching outfits with your dog deserve photographic evidence.
The finale brings back the stein-holding competition for a championship round and pairs pups and their people for the Best Dressed Duo competition.

Our limited-time Skiptoberfest Drink Menu will be available throughout the entire celebration, featuring refreshing Beertails and fall-ready Cidertails.
